Potterton Lynx 2 boiler ref GC 47 -590 -08 will only work intermittently in the 24 hour mode and will then cut out after approx 1 hour, can you advise what is the potential fault causing this
This is most likely the most common problem on the lynx boiler, dry joints on the pcb's this is nearly always on the connectors where the boards join together

Check, and maybe wire out your external controls (room stats etc.) and see if problem evaporates!
