Help! My TV won't turn off!?

I have a 40'' Haier JDTV just over 1 year old. all of the buttons on the tv itself are not working (power, vol +/-, ch +/-, menu and input) The remote works fine until I need to turn it off. The remonte turns it off, then a second later the TV turns itself back on! I have wiggled the power button on the tv thinking it may be stuck, but that doesn;t seem to be it.

It's been a while, but if you still have the problem or if anyone does in the future, just follow these steps:
1. Unplug the television.
2. Unlplug the coaxial cable.
3. Plug the power back in and turn it on
4. Remove the channel it was stuck on from the channel memory if needed
5. Plug the coaxial cable back in

And when you want to use it again, plug it back in. Simple as that. If you still wish to turn it off manually instead of having to unplug it and plug it back in every time, then go to the place you bought it and have it fixed. Hope this helped ;)

Just unplug it.
