is this a fault on my sigma car alarm?

i have a 2001 celica with a sigma alarm fitted.When i unlock the car i have about 30 secs.to start it,if i dont start it in that period i have to lock the car again then unlock to start.Is this a fault or is it normal.

ITS NORMAL THE ELECTRITIAN CAN SET IT UP FOR LONGER PERIOD 2 MIN ETC INSTEAD 30 SEC
