When I turn on my Combi boiler it fires up, but it is not giving me hot water and its not heating up my radiators. Plumber has checked boiler and said he has not seen one like it before, said I may need a Thermosist and if not a new boiler! Can anyone give me cheaper option than having to get a new boiler?

very difficult to diagnose without seeing it, is the pump running?
you can tell this by looking at the pressure gauge, when you put the heating on the gauge should move slightly.
