How can i fix my combi boiler vokera excell 80sp?

I now know that either the pressure differential switch or the fan has ceased to function correctly on my combi boiler. the pressure switch was replaced (but not specific to the make of the boiler) and we were left with the same problem we had to start with. This would lead me to believe the fan was the culprit. can anyone tell me their opinion.

If i were to replace the fan i would have to remove the main heat exchanger. When i come to refilling the system presumably i would use the filling loop and just bleed the radiators. Advice on this would also be helpful.

Many thanks

Get your corgi man to thoroughly clean off any build ups of corrosion/muck on the flue venturi profile. The venturi elbow must be removed from the boiler to do this effectively. Google 'Vokera flue venturi'. If he has a problem phone the Vokera technical help line for advice. Clean the Venturi before replacing more parts.

no need to remove heat exchanger to remove fan. its only fixed with a few screws. download a installation guide from vokera web site. shouldn't really do it yourself as you have to remove the combustion chamber cover and you have to be corgi registered to do this. most parts stockists won't sell parts like this if you cannot show corgi ID card.
