computer crashed XP have got disc but havent got a clue what to do

Do you see the Windows screen before it "crashes" ?
Do you get any error messages - sounds ?
The more info you give the better. Don't worry about using tech term just describe what is happening. There are different solutions some very quick and some take longer. The last resort would be to re install Windows and this could take a long time and might need technician on site depending on which Disk you have. Get back to us.
