How can I fix my Mobile Phone Nokia 2310?

My phone keeps saying "sim invalid". I am from Fiji and use the vodafone network. How can I mend this?

"Invalid sim" means that your phone is locked to particular Network. To solve this problem.you need to get it unlocked,You can unlock your Nokia 2310 phone from Network lock using unlock code.Unlock code is the best and safest way to unlock phone. You can get the unlock code for your phone from your Network service provider or any third party online vendors like http://www.mobileunlocksolutions.com/nokia-2310/rs16wp9/ here you need to specify your country, IMEI number of your phone. Then they deliver unlock code to you through mail with unlocking instructions. By using this you can unlock your phone easily.

The Phone could be sim-locked to another network. and this particular model is a DCT4+ so cannot be unlocked by code calculation. The only way to unlock this phone is via flash-unlock.
