XL6N Element resistance?

I have an Dimplex XL6N heater that isn't heating up as much as it used to. I've checked the element resistance at 66ohms. I worked out that it should be around 76ohms. Doesn't seem like the difference in resistance is proportional to the difference in heat output.

Double checked & found resistance should nearer my measured value.
Found the thermostat faulty.
