hi,all, ive just put up a 32 inch plasma with freeview built in ,and scarted it to dvd recorder,all five terri channel s tuned in to dvd no propb and can record them no prop,and plays dvds to the plasma no prob,,but cant record any freeview channels on dvd,,help,ive tried everything,,

As you don't say what either of the boxes is and my crystal ball is in the menders, here is generic advice. There are only two ways to do this:

The DVD recorder has a built-in Freeview tuner.

The TV has a Freeview channels AND can OUTPUT them down from its SCART socket (unusual but now unknown) AND the DVD recorder can accept INPUT from its SCART socket.
