What soldering method is used to replace the Ribbon Socket?

I have had several Samsung D500 Mobile Phones which needed components replacing on the main board for instance, Ribbon connector socket and Charger input block.
It seems next to impossible to obtain any information or help with this.

Dennis i regret to inform you that the parts you see advertised on ebay are indeed genuine but as you say you need expensive tools and a lot of knowledge.
I am a mobile phone techician and had a few problem like that, it is not worth the hassle as you need a digital slodering station at a cost of £2500-£4000 depending where you buy, also you need soldering balls ratio 67 and of course agood dose of good old fashioned level 2 service knowledge.
oh and one more thing you need a steady hand.
Do you still think you could carry out the repairs yourself?

I regret to say that Alex is miss informed, Both Ribbon connector sockets and Charging blocks are being offered for sale on Ebay. Unfortunatly the venders have no idea of how these can be fitted. In my opinion this makes it somewhat immoral to offer these components for sale to people who assume wrongly that they will be able to fit them. It takes a specialist and very expensive equipment to do this job as can be gathered by my entry above.

You will not get any info because once the ribbon connector is broken there is no way you will be able to solder a new one for 2 main reason
1) the part is not available on market
2) the part is digitally soldered to motherboard.
you can kiss goodbye to the phone as it is useless.
