hi i wrote previously because my servis m6011 motor has a slightly raised copper piece on the armature and was told i had to replace the motor,because the brushes were making a cliking sound against it.why can i just tap it gently into line?theres nothing wrong with anything else.i cannot afford 200 pounds for a new motor when the machine was only 200 to buy.surely i can just tap this segment bak?

No you can't tap it back because you may cut the armature windings and cause a short circuit and blow it up.
