my amp power light comes on, but no sound comes out. the amp is burnt out. no smoke came from it, just a funny smell. i looked at the things that looks like batteries, but theyre fine. i looked at the board for burnt spots too,but nothing. what else could it be?

Sounds like the internal power supply is bad. You need to take it to a Alpine dealer for repair, usually not that exspensive
