trying to change my lock?

i am trying to change the lock in my front upvc door because my key snapt but i cant turn the key to reamove the cylinder from the door, how do i get it out

hi adam the only way is to remove handles get an ajustable spanner and snap barrel be carefull nt to damage lock mech hope this helps

the side of lock where you key has snapped line it up as if you have locked door and ready to take key out,put a spare key in and the snapped key should pop out a little bit and allow cylinder to turn so you can replace with new 1,hope this helps
