Krups PowerXtreme blender gasket problem?

What is the gasket for this blender (PowerXtreme VI) supposed to look like, and how is it installed? I have a thin, round, white rubberized ring that I THINK came from this blender but don't know how or where to put it back! thanks for any help you can give.

The gasket goes between the glass jar and the base that holds the blade and its job is to keep liquids from leaking out. With the glass removed push the gasket over the metal bump surrounding the blade so that the "open" side of the gasket points down and it slides to the lowest point in the base of the blender. Now set the glass jar on the base and give it a partial turn to lock it in place. (Based on an older Krups PowerExtreme) Be sure not to lose the gasket as replacing is hard/impossible.
