Computer keeps freezing when I click on anything?

Every time I click on anything on the screen the pointer changes to a hand and then nothing works for ages and I have to switch off and try again.It works for a bit then does the same again.Any idea whats wrong.

Could be your processor check the Temperature on the cpu

You have too many things running on a PC that can't cope with them. For example if you have XP SP2 you need at least 512MB RAM.

Second clear out things that you don't use. Finally defrag your hard disk.
