i there i have a lexor 27 inch lcd which will not swith on when pluged in the red led is lit but when i press the button to turn on nothin happens i am aware that this is a power supply fault but cud any1 pointt me in the right direction as to what compononent has failed on the powerr supply thanks very much also these tvs are the same as harwa

I have a Lexsor 32" lcd tv and have noticed in the past few weeks that ive had colored lines all over the screen, i can still hear the sound but couldnt see the picture, i use to turn it off and let it cool down but yesterday it went again and no i have nothing, no picture and when i turn it on i get a blank screen, can anyone help or is it time to replace it if its gonna cost 2 much to repair?

lexsor tv wont switch on and there is no power light or stand by light showing power. iv change fuse in plug but still nothing? can anyone help or tell me if there is a fuse in the tv, and where can i locate it?

hi there i have checked the seconondary board and there isent any faults on that i am sure the fault is on the main power supply board it is stuck on standby

The only thing i can think of is a "resettable" fuse that may have gone out. They look just like a large ceramic capacitor, but you can see the "fillament wires" through the plastic coating...

If the "standby light" is coming on, however, I would check "secondary power" circuit... the one that the power button is connected to. The voltage regulator may have a diode that is roasted. That's all it takes.
