carbon brush's keep melting.****HELP**** HOTPOINT WM63?

ONE OF THE CARBON BRUSHES KEEPS ON MELTING ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE (BOUGHT SEVERAL NEW & KEEPS MELTING) I HAVE BEEN TOLD OF A COUPLE OF THINGS THAT IT COULD BE THE PUMP BUT DOUBTFULLY AS IT EMPTYS IN THE 30 SECONDS OR IT COULD BE THE MOTOR. COULD YOU PLEASE GET BK TO ME ANYONE WITH WAT COULD BE CAUSING IT OR HOW I CAN FIX IT PLEASE HELP MY MISSIUS'S WASHING NEEDS DOING!!!!

yep, i would agree. the white "laminated" carbons are the correct type for this machine. they are wider thus have a higher resistance. if it melts those, then i would suggest changing the armature, or go for a recon motor which is far cheaper than a new one, with the same warranty.

if u using black case carbons they burn out quicker use white case ones if still same problem then it will be motor fault
