renovating a room?

i am about to start updating my home soon when i begin the first room what is the best order to do the work in? have had the walls plastered & will be having new window fitted ,skirting, door, frame & carpet replaced. any help very much appreciated as dont want to ruin it by doing in wrong order!

I am assuming no electrics have to be added or replaced.
To late but window should have been first. Then skirting removal and any other timber trims pull that out first then get walls plastered.
Replace all wood work Paint ceiling 3 coats. Paint skirtings architrave, door, door frame, Paint/paper walls. Carpet.
