I have just brought abn ex display television that has had some of the silver paint removed, about 3 inches long and .5cm in height, there only seems to be surface paint removal,no enamel/plastic scratch. Can anyonre recommend how to restore this as it is int he middle of the TV right above the screen so it looks ugly

ther isn't much to do I had the same prob, but I scratched it myself with the craft knife while unpacking it from it's box.
I put on a sticker of dolby surround, luckily its not in the middle of the screen but just underneath the speaker.
I have tried touch up paint for silver cars, and also revell model paints but it came worse !!! :-?

Sounds like a Sony LS model!! the POS Sony designed pulled off paint and Dixons always stick em on. There is touch up paint in Halfords/ Wilkinsons nationwide that is as close as ur going to get
