sounds like a faulty fill valve.if its got hot and cold fill try turning 1 off and seeing if it still fills.this way you know which valve is at faulty.the other thing that can cause a machine to fill is water coming into machine via the drain hose from a sink (this is assuming it is connected under the sink and not into a seperate stand alone waste pipe).very low water pressure can give this fault also but assuming the pressure is the same you can rule this out.
