Hi to all readers I have the keycode for my Ford Sound 2000 radio/cassette but my question is how do you enter it,, I have tried to work it out as I do not have a user guide to explain how,, Could anyone explain the correct procedure of how to enter the code,, thanks in advance,, regards To all,, Tony

I need a keycode for Ford Sound 2000 radio,
Serial No: C492420
It needs 3 digit code.
I had disconnected it from battery and i have forgoten keycode.

Code Entry as Follows:
Switch Radio On - Display Shows
CODE with " - - - - " flashing
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press " SELECT " to Enter

NOTE:

1. If " - - - - " indication is solid (does not flash) and the 1-4 preset buttons do not work, the radio is locked after several incorrect attempts to enter the code. Leave the radio turned on in this condition until the " - - - - " starts flashing or the radio turns itself off. Then it should allow to enter the code.

2. If "TEN", "TEN+" or "10" appears on the display and the 1-4 preset buttons do not work, the radio is locked after 10 or more incorrect attemtps to enter the code. If it shows "TEN", hold "SELECT"+"MAN" together - it will allow ONE more attempt. If it shows "TEN+" or "10"... time to have it reset by professionals.

With most radios press button 1 until the first number of the code appears on the screen Button 2 until the second number appears and so on for all four digits,then press button 5 and it should come on.
