DC04 struggling to pick up off carpet but ok in kitchen , is there a setting to adjust height of roller

Its the soleplate that allows the roller to be close to the carpet or floor - if the machine isn't picking up well it probably just needs a thorough clean out. Tip the machine over, remove the plastic soleplate and be astounded at the amount of dust and fluff within.
