One of the guys that work here brought me a laptop, IBM thinkpad 600,its type 2645... he said he couldnt get it to work, he cant get into Bios, or anything, i plugged it up and turned it on, at first it said "294336 HB OK" i took and put another harddrive in it now it says "032192 HB OK" and moves to a black screen with a flashing bar, but when i press keys it beeps, and thats it, any ideas?

Go to www.lenovo.com and download the Hardware Maintenance Manual for the TP600 model that you have. Then stpe thorugh the diagnostics.

BTW I don't think that is an error code as such. It looks like a memory count to me. That is to say it says'MB' not 'HB'.
