Pre1970 Black & Red wiring a two way hall/landing light switch?

How do I wire the folllowing MK 10 amp single 2 way switches

Switch 1

1 Black Wire 1 Red wire in Greysheath
1 Red Wire seperate
Connections :L1, L2, Com

Switch 2
1 Black Wire 1 Red wire in Greysheath
1 Red Wire seperate
Connections :L1, L2, Com

Connections for Switch 1 are as follows, 1 Black Wire, 1 Red wire in Greysheath=Black gets connected to L1,Red gets connected to L2.Seperate single Red gets connected to Com.
Connections for Switch 2 are as follows,1 Black wire,1 Red Wire in Greysheath=Black gets connected to L1,Red gets connected to L2.Seperate single Red gets connected to Com.

agree - not conventional though but best solution. The 2 cables (1 at each switch) with the Greysheath will be connected together (the same cable) so L1, L2 as John says (L1 red and L2 black for 1 switch, L1 black and l2 red for other switch)
One of the single reds will be live in and the other will be to the light so both of these to COM

Jobs a goodun

This isn't wired to usual British Standards but it seems that the single separate reds should go to COM on both switches, and the other two to L1 and L2. If the switches don't perform to order, reverse the L1 and L2 connections. Don't blame me here.....!
