Can anyone please help me with tuning my sony trinitron kvm1400u. I have tried everything but nothing seems to work with the remote(RM836) that i have ??? why did sony make things so complicated in the past !!!??

Is the RM836 the original remote? I ask because someone else said they used the RK 841 for the same tv model. Maybe that's your problem, because tuning is relatively simple going through the menu buttons and pressing on the appropriate icons. If you look on ebay or do a google search, you might be able to find someone selling that remote control. Good luck.
