chainsaw won't stay running?

Question: I have an older Homelite Textron Super 2 chainsaw, UT# 104554, which will start and run for about a minute. After that, it dies and will not start. I tried cleaning the carb and replacing the fuel filter, to no avail. Wait awhile, it starts again and runs for a minute or so, then dies. Any ideas?
Also, how do I set the carb adjuster? It is about 1.5 turns out from set.

also check the spark arrester on the muffler. if its dirty it will choke the exhaust. you will have to remove the muffler to get at it

Your fuel screen in the carburetor is plugged or your fuel line is sucking flat. You may just need to rebuild the carb. $9 gets a kit here.
