can you replace the motor bushes on a dyson dc04?

The motor on my DC04 is arcing. I suspect that the bushes in the motor are worn is it possible to replace these or is it destined for the tip ?

Hi you can try fitting new carbon brushes to the motor but i would suspect the armature is damaged.
Which would then mean new motor req.
