What does the Error Code E30 mean on a Hotpoint WM73 washing machine?
I am having problems with my Hotpoint WM73 Ultima Machine. I put a load in today and half way through the wash it displayed the error code E30 and just stopped mid-cycle. Since then, I have not been able to get it started again. Any suggestions?
Just had tha same problem, took the two screws out of the top plate on the back panel, lifted off panel. Pushed yellow multi connector back into place on motor housing and cable tied in place .... washer fixed!

e30 means motor tacho error this may mean your brushs are worn or the motor plug has become dtached from the motor
