Ford cd player, cd will not eject, says error. Cd will play?

The Cd player in my ford explorer will not eject. Cd will play fine. When I push the Eject button it reads "ERROR" any help for this?

I used a thin knife to pop the cd up & then it ejected Ford explorer 2004

Same problem Pathfinder, I am wondering about oversized cd.
Other cds play and eject. cd is slightly bigger in diameter by feel.
