Whats worng with my Maytag Performa? it empties as it fills?

My Matag Performa (PAV4200aaw) is draining as it fills up and the water drains faster than it fill so it never gets to start. If you fill it with buckets whilst filling it will start and work fine but after the rinse it does the same again. What is wrong?

have you checked the drain hose to make sure it is not to low to the ground it could be self sifining
