why has my PC slowed down to a crawl :(I use spybot and also adaware,,nothing seems to work am using zonealarm and also an antivirus.I am on Windows XP
after a while a computer builds up lots of errors. this can be caused by uninstalling programs which leave bits behind and lots of reading and writing to the hard drive. you need to use programs such as system cleaners to delete absolute files and clean the registry. also regular defragmenting the harddrive helps kep the system running smoothly. also see what programs are starting up when you start your computer these are common for slowing down your computer.
