Washerman, bang on. My wife called me in panic for same symptoms. Put in another towel and all OK since. She insists that in 5 years it has never done it before, but she would say that wouldn't she?

i put washing on quick wash and went through all of wash until got to spin, i've tried spinning on it own and taking washing out and putting more washing in and still nothing would be greatfully for any ideas thanks.

Nowt wrong with it. You have had a out of balance load either not enough in it or too much. If it's a smell load put a couple of wet bath towels in it or if it's a big load take some out.
