don't know make or model.nokia comes up when i turn it on.8gb when i turn on music empty disk comes up.i can connect it to the media player some songs will play some won't and format error comes up on the mp3. Can someone please help me???

if you have all your music stored somewhere else, you can try re-formatting your player. plug it in, right click on the icon, select re-format, you will have to choose between options but if you choose the wrong one, you can just go back and format it again. after formatting it, you should be able to load and play your music.
