My television is locked and when turned on shows up a blank blue screen with a padlock symbol in left hand corner cant get it off or television to work help what do i do

is it asking for a password or pin number, in a box under the padlock?? if so try oooo and ok it must have being locked with the remote control . or see can you get into menu , go through the settings till you find the lock and unlock it if you can get into the menu ,, good luck
