How to fix Pfaff 230 sewing machine needle position lever?

I have an old Pfaff 230 that has beautiful stitches. I am having trouble with the needle position adjustment. My needle will sew left and right and will make a nice seam, but when set in the middle for regular seams it will not go all the way and will stay to the right about 1/8 inch. I need to see it in the middle of the feet, not to the right. There must be a setting somewhere other than the front lever. I can't find a decent repairperson and this machine weights a ton to mail. Please, can anyone help me fix this. I can follow directions and have worked on my machine before. Thanks

Hello Sewing mom,
Take the top off the machine and slacken off the screws on the 3 needle position lever and make sure the lever is in the middle, push the needle bar to where you want it and tighten the screws back up again.
