I just called customer service as mine is doing the same. They said that I should try cleaning the lens with a q-tip with rubbing alcohol (just damp) and if that doesnt work you can have a repair person look at it to see if the lens needs aligning or you can contact Polaroidelectronics.com and for $95 US and you ship the old unit you can have a brand new on- lifetime!
Mine is 2 yrs old- I think I will just order another
