Can someone please tell me how to mend a rip in a tulle material dress? fancy dress outfit for a child , no label on it

Hello....i have been reserching as my wedding dress is tulle and has an L shaped tear....best advice so far....use either wonderweb underneath but iron on using a teatowel not direct heat or a clear repair patch, somebody suggested boob tape!
