am i doing something wrong.peugeot 406 hdi?

when i turn on ignition the cd plays but after engine has turned over and car is running the cd player wont play only the radio can you help please?the make is cannon compact disc digital audio

I have the same problem with my 406 HDI. Maybe its a common fault! Does anyone else have the same issues?
