I accidently connected a wrong adaptor (of higher voltage) 2 my discman- sign sg885 & now its not working, plz help me.

I suspect that you will have damaged (blown up ?) several components on the motherboard , plus other components and this means that it will be very expensive to fix . The best option is to buy another (on Ebay?) and sell your old one on Ebay for spares
