it is also loseing power whan this light comes on please can u tell me what it is as i havent a manual thanks tina

Hi Tina, it sound like a warning for the catalyitic converter/lambda sensor, pre 2001 cars the warning was not was not standardised and different manufacturers used different methods to display the fault, take it to an independant garage and they will have the kit to read any fault codes in the ECU,
