escort van not stopping?

i have just changed my oil and went for a drive only about 2 miles when i got home the van will not stop you can take the key out.
any ideas

sounds like you put too mch oil in oil can enter breather then inlet manifold and engine will run on exess oil

sounds like engine stop solenoid fault- either still getting a live feed when ignition off or internal plunger/valve not closing [may be held open with debris under valve]
