Child lock on my LG DVD/Video player-no remote?

My remote was lost in my recent move & the child lock was accidentally put on prior to the move but I didn't notice it. Is there anyway around this lock? Do I need a Universal remote or is there a bypass via my LG TV? It's on LG DC593W
