Make sure you have power to the plug,
I'm thinking the display doesn't light.
Your key touches a little button on a micro switch. make sure it does. Sometimes you can hear it click.
If it lights but doesn't run, push the belt with your feet and start it.
If it starts your motor brushes are bad.
If it doesn't you may have a bad lower board
