vokera mynute 28se. Hoe does it check for water present and pump on?

Is it the same sensor that checks there is water in the boiler before firing and to confirm the pump is running. ?? The boiler at the moment will fire even though there is no water pressure on the boiler gauge. I assune the sensor has been bypassed. Please briefly explain to a newbee.
Thanks Michael

Michael,

I'm not an engineer but, I've had similar problems.
The fault I found with my 28se was the heat exchanger was clogged solid with lime scale. try removing the heat exchanger, flushing through with kettle descaling fluid. it worked for me. Also check that the diaphragm hasnt become stuck, if so strip, clean, grease up (plumbers grease approx £3 for a tiny pot).

Good luck

Pete
