FORD RDS 5000 CONNECTOR AND HARNESS?

HI , I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A FORD RDS 5000 RADIO CASSETTE TO USE IN MY WORKSHOP BUT ALTHOUGH THE SELLER SUPPLIED ME THE CODE HE USED THE ORIGINAL HARNESS AND CONNECTOR FOR HIS UPDATED SYSTEM. CAN YOU THEREFORE PLEASE ADVISE WHERE I MIGHT OBTAIN THE APPRPRIATE CONECTOR AND LEADS, THANKS, PAUL.

Hi Paul, visit your nearest scrap/breakers yard with a pair of cutters you will probably get them for free as they are of no value to the scrap dealer and if you need the pin connections contact me on nige110162@hotmail.co.uk and I'll mail them to you

You can buy the various DIN connectors at a good motor factors - often they are for transferring the radio from one vehicle to another. Anyway, you'll need to identify 3 main power connections 1) The earth 2) The permanent live for the sets memory 3) The switched live which actually makes the set work. The terminal connections are often on the back of the set on a diagram of some sort.
