when putting soup in my belling microwave (not an old one) it will not heat up - everything else is working i.e. lights panel etc

i have the same problem with my lg microwave and it is only 2 years old. do u know how much it costs to repair it ? If it is going to be very expensive, i guess it is better to buy a new one. This is my 2nd oven with the same problem,i bought a new one last time... lookin into repair options this time around.
