there is a mecinism under the van where the cable splits to either wheel, you can ajust it there but if your handbrake is not working hardly you may find that the mecinism is cised so unbolt it and wd40 it and tap it with a hammer until it relises. its a common fault with the lwb & xlwb sprinters
