CAN MY MIRA THERMOSTATIC 722 STILL BE FIXED?

THE SHOWER WORKS PERFECTLY WELL EXCEPT THAT THE HOT WATER HAS NOW BECOME LUKE WARM. THE SHOWER WAS INSTALLED APPROXIMATELY 1985/86 AND THIS IS THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE HAD.
