My panasonic dvd recorder model no: DMR-EZ45VEBS is displaying a fault code UBO and the screen goes gray with no picture how do i solve this problem?

I have this problem regularly on both my machines. There must be an answer somewhere. Why do we pay these suppiers so much money and get so little in return.

Cliff have you tried disconnecting from mains then put back on? this normally resets the software etc otherwise its a possible software/hardware failure!
