The "drop feed knob" or darning cam knob won't move at all. Have you any idea why and what it might cost to repair?

The drop feed mechanism is a very simple mechanism, take the bottom off the machine so you can see behind the dial and you should see a long rod, turn the dial to either drop the feed or raise the fee and pull the rod at the same time, undo the screw on the knob and push the knob and the rod part that goes into the dial together and then tighten the screw.
